GIFT OF READING:
Books, DVDs, audiobooks, and Videos for the library's collection may be
purchased by individuals as memorials or to honor individuals or organizations. This program
is an especially popular way to honor a special teacher or to remember a loved one on a special
occasion through the gift of reading. Simply print out our
Gift of Reading Form on your home computer
(you will need Adobe Acrobat to print this;
forms are also available at the library). Choose the type of item that you wish
to purchase for the library and the amount that you want to spend and the staff of
the Windsor Locks Library will choose an appropriate item from our list of planned
purchases or find one to match your specifications.

Welcome Baby ~ Born to Read packet.
BRICKS OF REMEMBRANCE:
Bricks of Remembrance
are a wonderful way to commemorate a special day or to honor a friend or loved one for a donation of just $50. Engraved bricks
are placed in a landscaped patio just outside the front door of the library where they can be viewed and enjoyed by everyone who visits.
A lovely park bench for meditation, relaxation, or watching the world go by has been placed by the patio. Download a
form or visit the library to pick one up.

to see our traditional tote bags ($10 & $6). Director Gloria Malec (left) models our blue child's tote bag ($6). We recently introduced a new white tote bag
sporting the logo "So many books...so little time!" for just $10. This bag is modeled by retired staff member Carol Weidemier at the far right.
Remember, our bags are great for toting books, but they can be used for lunches, toys, and stuffed dogs as well!
Our novelty laminated bookmarks are available for almost any occasion for just $1.00. They make great teacher gifts and are perfect for that "something extra"
to tuck into a birthday card!

This small card entitles you to books, audiobooks, magazines, music, and movies (video and DVD) at
EVERY library in Connecticut, all for free! You also need to present an up-to-date Connecticut library card in order to use our library PCs.
