~ BOOKBUFFS DISCUSSION GROUP ~
The naked truth about the books we read!

"Never apologize for your reading taste."
(Betty Rosenberg's First Law of Reading)

stack of books with tea things BookBuffs is a monthly drop-in discussion group for book lovers who wish to share their thoughts and opinions with fellow readers. The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM.

Each attendee is given the opportunity to spend 5-10 minutes talking about books that they love or hate, sharing information and impressions about their favorite fiction and nonfiction works and their authors. A worksheet for making notes prior to our meetings is available on our web site for those who like to prepare ahead! No one is required to speak, though; listening is just fine, too. Questions, comments, and additional information from other group members will be welcomed at the discretion of each speaker. Please be sure to have the correct title and author of each book that you "talk". Everyone is invited to bring along a notebook (some will be provided at the first meeting) to record future "reads" that interest them. If the group gets large we will have a timer available to ensure that everyone has their chance to speak!
