Personal or academic research often requires the use of print works, web-based resources, and online databases. You may have noticed that we do not have a separate reference desk here at the Windsor Locks Public Library, but we DO have Reference staff available to guide you through the process of finding and evaluating information!

To help you get started we have created printable resource sheets on various general topics, listing some of our most up-to-date print materials, Internet resources, and databases available with your Windsor Locks Library card. These sheets should give you a good idea of what is available here and where to start your search. We have also included information sheets from our Computer Tutor Internet Searching classes to help you find the most authoritative and accurate information on the web. All the sheets can be printed out on any PC. Just click on the topic of your choice from the list below. Adobe Acrobat is required since these documents are in PDF format.
