WLFD Explorer Post #50
The Windsor Locks Fire Department has one of the best groups in town for teens to belong to. Explorer Post #50 is a group of young men and women ages 14-17 who get to work along side the firefighters of Windsor Locks. They participate in training/drills, respond to fire calls, provide support to the firefighters at emergencies and attend public events such as parades, open house, etc. Many of our explorers go on to be volunteer firefighters with the Windsor Locks Fire Department when they turn 18.
